Durango Skies design split roof roll-off observatory with a 18' x 14' observing area and a 8' x 14' warm room. The observing area holds four (4) permanently mounted telescopes. Power for telescopes and lighting is provided by a 12v DC battery system. Independently switched interior and exterior lights provide illumination for guests.

Technical Innovations 10' Pro-Dome observatory with three wall rings, rotation motors and shutter motor. Dome and wall rings were preassembled offsite, then disassembled for delivery and installation. A 3' by 3' concrete block pier provides telescope isolation from the deck.

Durango Skies 8' x 12' roll-off roof observatory with a 8' x 8' observing area and a 4' x 8' storage room. The hip roof and siding were designed to match the house and out buildings. Equipment includes a Durango Skies 10" steel pier, Tele Vue NP127is and Losmandy G-11, all from Durango Skies.

Durango Skies 10' x 14' roll-off roof observatory on a concrete slab. Equipment includes a Durango Skies 8" steel pier with CG-5 adapter. The electrical system and warm room were installed after construction by the owner.

Durango Skies 8' x 10' roll-off roof observatory. The exterior was finished in cedar boards, rough side out, and stained to match the house. The blue steel roofing matched the house as well. The interior of the observatory was finished in tongue and groove Aspen. Equipment includes a Durango Skies 8" steel pier.

Technical Innovations 10' Home-Dome observatory. The dome was preassembled offsite, disassembled and delivered on a flatbed trailer, and reassembled onsite. The assembled dome was then craned into position.

Durango Skies 14' x 18' roll-off roof observatory with a 14' x 10' observing area and a 14' x 8' warm room. Exterior roof color and siding were designed to match the house. A 10' x 2' dropdown wall on the southern wall provides views to the horizon. Equipment includes a Durango Skies 10" steel pier.
