The combination of relatively long focal length with a 4-element Plössl design endows this illumiated-crosshair eyepiece with a large eye lens and ample eye relief. The 12.5mm focal length is well suited for use with off-axis guiders, where light gathering is minimal. Multi-coated lenses also help boost image brightness. Can be used with a barlow to increase magnification. Etched, double-crossline reticle is illuminated by a red LED light with adjustable brightness. Crosshairs are focusable. Runs on two SR-44 batteries (included).
