This is a color version of the StellaCam EX . It works well for the planets, lunar solar, hydrogen alpha solar and limited deep sky objects with telescopes 10 inches or larger. The StellaCam Ex uses the most sensitive 1/2 inch format CCD available, the SONY 600 line EXView CCD. This camera is 2X more sensitive than non-EX-View CCDs in the visual range and 4X more sensitive in the near infrared. (800-900 nm). This camera can also be run up to 200 feet away from the telescope with optional extension cables.
