The Short 2" Everbrite maximizes the SCT fork arm, swing-through clearance on such telescopes as the LX90.

With the Celestron f/6.3 reducer, the short 2" diagonal system acts at f/5.5. With this setup, a 27mm Panaoptic yields a 1.5º true field on a C-8.

A simple way to use 1-1/4" eyepieces in this setup is to attach the new model CEA-2125 converter adapter to your 1-1/4" eyepieces (this locks with a nylon tipped set screw). Your 1-1/4" eyepiece now becomes a low-profile 2" eyepiece.
