PlaneWave Instruments Products

Payment Method

All orders require 50% down payment. The balance of the payment is due prior to shipment. We do accept educational and corporate purchase orders. For the final payment, personal checks need to clear before the product is shipped.


If an order is cancelled, please submit the cancellation in writing. There is a 2.5% cancellation charge that will be deducted from the deposit. The refund will be sent within 30 days of receiving the cancellation notice.


The delivery time is 3 to 4 months from the date of deposit. All items are shipped FOB Origin. Shipping can be arranged by the Buyer or can be arranged by PlaneWave Instruments.

PlaneWave Instruments Warranty

To have an active PlaneWave Instruments Warranty, PlaneWave must have the customer's address and contact information. Note that sales for Europe and Eastern Europe must be purchased through an authorized European dealer and not through Durango Skies. The European dealer carries the Warranty for PlaneWave products in Europe and Eastern Europe. Neither PlaneWave nor the European dealer will warranty products purchased in the US then shipped to Europe. In that event, the product will not be covered by a warranty.

PlaneWave warrants your telescope to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year for coatings and two years mechanics and electronics. If a product is sent in for warranty, the customer will pay for the shipping to PlaneWave. PlaneWave will inspect and determine if the product is defective in either workmanship or materials. If the returned product is determined to be covered by warranty, PlaneWave will repair or replace all or part of the product and will reimburse the customer for the shipping charge.
