Features

Constructed of 10 interlocking panels with a lockable door and dome.
Can be used as a permanent observatory or quickly disassembled to bring to a star party or dark sky site.
Made of double walled, 2" wide, high-density plastic. It’s the same plastic used in outdoor garden furniture, children’s playground toys, and agricultural products.
Will house most popular SCT's, small refractors, and Dobs.
Can be used with a pier or a tripod.
Will assemble in about an hour on soil, a deck or concrete.
Easily anchors solidly to any base.
Has optional "POD Bays" (extruded wall panels). The Bays extend the diameter of POD, and will universally configure for storage, computer equipment, communication equipment, etc. Up to 5 bays can be added.
The dome opening (patent pending) has 360 Degree Rotation. Horizon to *Zenith plus East to West viewing at the same time! *Zenith viewing possible with most popular telescopes. Ability to set up the mount slightly off center may be required in some cases.
No chimney effect which is a problem in small slotted domes at cold temps rendering some types useless.
No need to motorize. With such a large opening you can track an object for hours, without having to move the dome.
The dome rotates on 30 wheels housed in the top of the wall.
Surround ventilation between the dome and wall.
