A 4-inch, 2-element f/8.6 APO air-spaced doublet. The Tele Vue-102 achieves diffraction limited preformance, high powers, and a wide 3 degree maximum visual field.

Like all refractors without a rear lens group (as built into the Tele Vue NP-101) a field flattener is needed for photography of star fields. However, a dedicated 0.8x reducer/flattener will be available, to permit great astrophotography at f/6.9 with the Tele Vue-102.
