DAMAGED MERCHANDISE IN SHIPMENT

Most merchandise is double-boxed to protect the contents. If the packaging is severely damaged, please refuse to accept it from the carrier. The carrier will inspect the damage and return the package to Durango Skies. We will send a replacement as soon as we have received confirmation from the carrier that the damaged merchandise is en route.

If you do accept a damaged shipment make sure when signing the carrier"s proof-of-delivery slip, you include a note stating the package is or appears damaged. Please inform us immediately. Depending on the product and where/how it was shipped, it may be necessary for you to deal with the carrier.

CHECKING YOUR MERCHANDISE

Please open all boxes immediately and inspect the contents. Notify Durango Skies of any damage or other problems within 2 days of receiving your merchandise.

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE

If you believe an item is defective, contact the manufacturer. They are responsible for repairing or replacing the item under their warranty policy. If you are unsatisfied with the manufacturer"s response, Durango Skies will be happy to assist you in dealing with the manufacturer.

RETURNS

Hold on to the original packaging!

We will only accept a return if it is:
  1. Returned with all warranties, instruction manuals, accessories, etc. in the original manufacturer"s packaging
  2. In working, brand new (never used) condition
Contact Durango Skies within 15 days of receiving the merchandise for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Returns will not be accepted without this number.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If you wish to exchange an item for another of comparable value, the restocking fee for the return will be lowered to 10%.

Merchandise returned after 15 days will be subject to a higher restocking fee or may not be returnable.

MERCHANDISE THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED

  • Used merchandise (Durango Skies does not sell used or refurbished merchandise)
  • Special Orders (Merchandise that is not listed with standard pricing on our website)
  • Software and sealed items that have been opened
  • CCDs
  • Digital Cameras
