SolarMax 90 Telescope with Blocking Filter 15

$9,950.00 $4,999.00
[SM90T15]
The SolarMax 90 telescope is the largest H-A telescope ever to be mass-produced and is in use around the world from private observatories to professional research facilities. Noted for incredibly sharp, contrasty H-Alpha views, and stunning detail. Even when viewing with a single eyepiece the sun appears fully animated even revealing hints of curvature, this effect is enhanced when used with bino-viewers. The SolarMax 90 telescope is compatible with most imaging systems and amateur astronomers have produced images that rival those gathered by multi-million dollar systems.

All of the packages come with the following items: Clamshell mounting ring, Sol Ranger sun finder, Travel case, and full CEMAX eyepiece set.

"While drinking my 1st morning coffee I watched the sun rise through distant pine trees. I was floored. Unbelievable. Maybe scary. Setting up while the sun was still within the branches gave me confidence everything worked, I could achieve focus, etc, but I couldn"t really see much detail through the branches...just a couple prominences and surface granularity telling me that all was well. Then I stood entranced as the sun slowly cleared the last branch and I could see an increasing unobstructed disk...Wow! It"s like being there. Several big filaments, prominences around the disk ... and all against a perfectly black background, no flare/stray light, nothing. I was not prepared for this view. You"ve got a real winner here." - Peter B.
